Healthy Happiness in 2022

Well, here we are at the beginning of 2022. Yippee!! At this time, we always feel as though the new year wipes the slate clean and presents us with an opportunity to substitute some of the habits that just don’t serve us anymore. We're not talking about wholesale change, just a gentle understanding of what you need and slowly bringing healthy habits and new patterns into our routines.  

If the past two years have taught us anything it is that we need to take conscious care of our own bodies and minds. Take care of what goes into both and if you need a break from the craziness, take it.  2022 should be the year you ditch the fear and embrace a proactive role in your own health. Fear is a debilitating emotion. It leaves us vulnerable and reactive. Our bodies react to fear the same way we react to stress, and all body systems suffer. Our health and wellbeing need us to be PROactive. The decisions we make every day can heal or harm us, right from the time we wake up to the time we go to bed.

The wonderful thing about looking after yourself is the rewards are right there for you to see and feel. You are experiencing it all first hand as doctor and patient, and you will be paid back in increased energy, boosted mood and vitality. Just what we need in 2022.
